LunaPulse Support

How can we help?

If LunaPulse is not showing the Moon information you expect, the details below cover the most common questions.

Email support

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version if known, and the location or date involved if the issue relates to Moon timing or visibility. Please don’t send passwords or highly sensitive personal information.

Common questions

Why do Moon rise or set times differ from another app?

LunaPulse is designed around site-specific calculations. Check that the location and date you are viewing are correct, and remember that different apps may use slightly different assumptions or rounding.

Why does LunaPulse ask for my location?

Location is optional and is used for features that need site-specific Moon information, such as rise and set times, altitude, azimuth and visibility. You can manage location access in iOS Settings.

Why is weather information missing or different?

Weather is supporting context rather than the source of the Moon calculations. Availability and timing can vary with the weather service and the location being viewed.

What is Outdoor red mode for?

Red mode is intended for darker observing environments where you may want to reduce bright white light while using the app outside.

Do widgets always update immediately?

iOS controls widget refresh timing, so a widget may update on a different schedule from the app itself. Opening LunaPulse is the best way to see the latest in-app view.
